What data the website processes

This is an informational website. It has no forms, registration, search, analytics or advertising tools.

On every visit the server automatically records technical data: IP address, time of the request, the requested address and browser information. These records are used solely to ensure the operation and security of the website, are not shared with third parties and are kept only for as long as necessary. The legal basis is legitimate interest and the performance of tasks in the public interest.

Fonts and all other website files are served from our own server, so your IP address is not sent to third-party services (e.g. Google Fonts) while browsing.

YouTube videos

Some laureate profiles include embedded YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When a video is displayed, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which thereby receive your IP address. After you play a video, YouTube may store data in your browser according to its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any other browser storage (e.g. localStorage) and does not use tracking tools. It therefore does not display a cookie consent banner.

The only exception may be an embedded YouTube video once it is played (see above). External links (e.g. Wikipedia, the website of the Trnava Self-Governing Region) are governed by the rules of those websites.
